The Department of Defense (DoD) requires the creation of and sustainment, enhancement, and training support services for Financial Management Tools and Resource Dashboard and increased workflow management and real-time, integrated information for staff and leadership decision cycles. Once created, the Financial Management Tools and Workflows (e.g., Sharepoint, etc) will provide commanders, directors, managers, financial managers, and resource analysts a complete, integrated picture of the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) financial status via program specific metrics. The tools will allow analysts to identify and resolve issues and proactively manage program execution. The Resource Dashboard is to be a visual representation of operational status and resource availability for DoD’s personnel. This daily operational status visibility is achieved through integrated financial, planning, manpower and personnel data that will be provided by the Financial Management Tools. This visibility will entail customized metrics, perspectives, and projections.

DoD requires professional financial services to design tools and procedures to provide the analysis needed to implement non-proprietary resource management tools and workflow solutions. These services will aid the DoD in managing financial execution, planning, manpower and personnel activities.
